Whether you hit the Eagle Valley Trail (EVT) every day or are ready to gear up for your very first summer ride, leaving the car behind is the perfect way to support a cleaner, healthier, and more connected community.
When is Eagle County Bike to Work Day 2026?
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Local commuter stations will be open throughout the valley during the morning commute to offer free food, drinks, and gear for riders. The celebration continues into the evening with community happy hours hosted by Sole Power Plus.

Through a shared commitment to safety, free bike helmets will be available at official Bike to Work Day stations on June 24. If you can’t make it out to a station or need a new lid before the big day, free helmets are available year-round at the Avon Recreation Center and the Edwards Field House.

You don't have to wait until June 24 to enjoy the benefits of car-free commuting. This year, the entire month of June is Bike to Work Month in Eagle County. We are challenging the whole valley to swap everyday vehicle trips for bike rides, walks, or alternative transit.
Whether you are biking to the office, riding to grab your morning coffee, meeting up with friends, running weekend errands, or simply exploring the EVT, Bike to Work Month is all about finding easy opportunities to choose two wheels over four.
